Sankara S. Velamuri "He

Velamuri family) On September 11, Sankara Velamuri called his wife from the 86th floor of the World Trade Center to say he was all right, and that everyone was leaving the building. But in fact, the Indian immigrant stayed behind to care for Dianne Gladstone and Yeshavant Tembe, two friends and coworkers who were seriously injured. That act of kindness cost him his life.
