In 1950, artists from 13 Marshall Plan countries took part in a competition to create posters capturing the goals and spirit of the Marshall Plan. From some 10,000 designs submitted, an intra-European jury in Paris made up of museum curators, art educators, and others chose 25 of the posters for production and distribution throughout Western Europe. Twelve of the winning posters are shown here. Click on the posters for enlargements.
