Afghans celebrating next to a music shop
Afghans celebrate next to a music shop in Herat, Afghanistan, which was opened days after the Taliban abandoned the city, November 15, 2001. People listened to music in the streets and in their cars after the Taliban's flight southward. Radio and television was not allowed under the Taliban regime.
