Internationalizing the University Campus: Sharing Experiences and Best Practices

This program will provide a forum for international exchange office administrators from the United States and Taiwan to share experiences and encourage greater networking and educational exchange. Speakers from the U.S. and Taiwan will share best practices with Taiwan Ministry of Education officials and local international office administrators and staff members on how to successfully internationalize their university campuses.

Guest Biographies:
Dorothy Mora is the Senior Program Officer in the Educational Information and Resources Branch in U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. She joined the Bureau in 1996 and current responsibilities include managing the network of EducationUSA centers in the East Asia/Pacific region.

Fanta Aw has over 15 years of experience in the field of International Education Exchange. Ms. Aw is Director of International Student Services at American University and Chair of the International Campus Life Council, whose mission is to foster intercultural awareness, understanding, and appreciation of diversity and to monitor administrative systems and services to ensure responsiveness to the needs of international students.

Martin A. Bennett has been Director of International Services at Ball State University since 2004. In this role he serves on the Destination Indiana Committee promotion Indiana to EducationUSA advisors. He also supervises staff to recruit, admit, orient, advise and program for all overseas students and scholars.
