As electronic voting systems move into the mainstream of election administration, democracies must ensure that all citizens can vote freely, easily and securely. Please join election expert Paul DeGregorio to discuss the promises and pitfalls of electronic voting systems and the actions the U.S. government has taken to facilitate the casting of ballots across the country.

Guest Biography: Throughout his career, Paul DeGregorio has focused on democracy promotion, elections and the right to vote. He has worked in more than 20 countries over some 20 years as an election expert. From 2003 to 2007 he was the United States' chief election official. DeGregorio has been a proponent of innovations that enfranchise voters, focusing particularly on solutions to access problems faced by remote and disabled voters. He recently became an official with Everyone Counts, a California-based company that provides secure online solutions for private and public elections throughout the world.
