The Internet is fortunately no longer an arena that only few computer-savvy individuals can visit -- instead, it is becoming a friendlier and friendlier locale for teachers of Young Learners. Join Caroline Linse for a webchat focused on helping YL teachers become more aware of the types of Web sites they could find useful. During the webchat, participants will discuss sites ranging from those that can help teachers figure out what to do on Monday morning, to sites that can make it easier to address special needs that Young Learners may have.
Guest Biography: Caroline Linse is an associate professor of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) at Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, Korea, where she teaches graduate-level courses in the general TESOL and the Young Learners TESOL programs. She has worked in English as a Second Language (ESL) programs in various parts of the United States, including rural Alaska, and in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programs in Belarus, Estonia, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico and American Samoa. In addition, Linse has published a wide variety of materials for the ESL and EFL markets. She is author of the methodology textbook, Practical English Language: Young Learners, that is part of David Nunan’s series (Practical English Language Teaching) published by McGraw Hill.
